The Thirteen  Steps to Help YOU Cope with Holidays, Birthdays, Anniversaries and other difficult dates

  1. Reach out to family and friends celebrate it is ok.
  2. Exercise for 10 to 20 minutes every day to release positive endorphins.
  3. Eat healthy decrease intake of unhealthy foods they will feed the negative feelings.
  4. Have a creative outlet to keep you connected of the feeling (right) side of the brain.
  5. Prayer
  6. Deep breathing, meditation and mindfulness.
  7. Create a scrapbook to honour the loved one.
  8. Be ok saying NO.
  9. Aromatherapy.
  10. Keep traditions and create new ones.
  11. Grow a plant or buy one to honour the person you have lost.
  12. Laugh, make a  snow angel and believe in angels.
